Read Gisela’s Forbes Article on Industry 5.0, and Get Excited for a Great Community Event!

Our wonderful President, Gisela Carere, MBA is a member of Forbes Business Council! and shares her view on “Understanding the Impact of Industry 5.0”

She says “Industry 5.0 is focused on harnessing the synergy of human brainpower and artificial intelligence (AI) to create a robotic workforce that is perceptive and responsive to human goals and desires.”

Embracing The Future

Embracing change is hardly easy, but neglecting it carries a higher risk. Industries 1.0 through 4.0 happened whether we were ready (and liked them) or not. Industry 5.0 will happen, as well, so it is important that we, as business leaders, get ready!

Redefining Global Perspectives

Thus far, the big winners of AI seem to be America’s “Magnificent Seven” tech firms: Microsoft, Amazon, Alphabet, Tesla, Meta, Nvidia and Apple. As technology spreads quickly, however, western countries will not be the only ones to benefit. AI is also set to assist emerging countries in the development and adoption of key industries such as healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing and finance.

At Benchmark, we have an extensive network of people and organizations that we admire for the work they do in our community. You may remember our community spotlight on Frontlines.
This month we wanted to shed some more light on Frontlines, as they have an amazing event coming up!

Frontlines is an organization that addresses the pressing needs of young people in various Toronto neighborhoods, which have some of the highest poverty rates in Ontario. They work to support early intervention and prevention for the children and youth in these communities through programs offered and the safe space they create in these vulnerable communities.
This event helps the organization raise crucial funds, that benefit those struggling to make ends meet.
